Saturday and Sunday are when plenty of Officer South households can get to a dentist without losing a day of work or a day of school. Prime Smile Dental Clinic opens on both, and on every other day of the week, from one practice inside Casey Medical Centre in Clyde. Everything from a routine clean to same-day emergency treatment runs out of that one clinic. If a tooth has already started up, say so on the call, because it decides which appointment you are offered. The numbers are (03) 592 922 53 and 0477 138 908, and the online booking system takes bookings at any hour.

The Hours That Are Open to You, Sunday Included
The published hours, whether you are travelling in from Officer South or looking for a dentist in Beaconsfield:
- Monday to Friday: 9am to 6pm
- Saturday: 8am to 6pm
- Sunday: 9am to 3pm
Sunday is the shortest of the seven, so if the weekend is the only part of your week that is genuinely free, ask about a Sunday time early. The phones are answered through opening hours, and email reaches the practice at info@primesmiledentalclinic.com.au.
Who You Are Booking With at Prime Smile Dental Clinic
Jonemson Perez founded Prime Smile Dental Clinic in 2023, and it has worked from the single Clyde clinic since. Officer South sits in the Shire of Cardinia, south-east of Melbourne, and it is one of the Victorian suburbs on the practice’s service list, as is Officer itself.
This is a general dental practice. Every dentist holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and is registered with the Australian Dental Council, Dr Gurleen Sekhon and Dr Mary Roneth Perez among them, with each dentist’s qualifications set out on the About page. Dr Jeff Field, an anaesthetist, works alongside the general dentists, which is what makes sedation available for anxious patients and for longer procedures. As a dental clinic serving Officer South and the suburbs around it, it keeps every patient’s history in the one place.
Preferred Providers
Fees You Can See Coming
The examination comes first, the findings are explained, and the cost is set out and agreed before any work begins. Ring for current pricing on a check-up and clean if you want a figure before booking.
Most patients use one or more of these:
- Private health funds: the practice is a preferred provider, so what you pay turns on your fund and your level of cover. Bring your card.
- Medicare’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule: eligible children up to 17 are covered for a set list of services across two calendar years. Give the Medicare details when booking and eligibility is checked beforehand.
- Afterpay and Zip, to spread the cost across instalments.
- Payment plans through the finance providers the practice partners with.
- Early release of superannuation, which takes time to organise, so raise it early.
- Cash and card for the rest.
The Appointment You Planned, and the One You Did Not
A booked check-up runs to a set order. The dentist examines, takes X-rays and diagnostics where something needs seeing below the surface, explains what is there, and sets out the options and what each would cost before any treatment starts. Then the work is carried out and a time is set for the next preventive visit.
An urgent problem runs differently. Same-day emergency treatment is available, and a tooth that is broken, loose, swollen or keeping you awake is not a routine slot next week. If it is nerves rather than the diary that has kept you away, say that too, and sedation can be talked through before the day rather than on it.

What You Can Get Booked In For
All of it happens at the one clinic:
- Check-ups and cleans, in-depth examinations, X-rays and diagnostics
- Fillings, root canal treatment, and extractions including wisdom teeth
- Crowns, bridges, veneers and dental implants
- Teeth whitening and other cosmetic dentistry
- Paediatric dentistry, from a child’s first look onwards
- Preventive and restorative dentistry
Myofunctional appliances are available as well, and so are clear aligners and braces in Officer South, along with full and partial dentures. Each has its own Officer South page.
Putting a Day in the Diary
A first visit commits you to nothing beyond finding out what is going on and what it would take to put right. Pick the day you can actually make, Sunday included, then ring (03) 592 922 53 or 0477 138 908, or book online whenever it suits.

Dentures, Rules of Thumb and Finding the Money
How much does it cost to get all your teeth pulled and get dentures in Australia?
There is no single national figure, because the answer moves with how many teeth come out, whether anything has to be treated before they do, and which kind of denture is made afterwards. It gets settled after an examination, not before one. The funding shape is the same as any staged plan: health fund cover where it applies, then Afterpay, Zip, a payment plan or early release of superannuation. Prime Smile Dental Clinic provides full and partial dentures, and the page on dentures in Officer South walks through the steps.
What is the 2 year rule for dentists?
Dentists do not work to a rule of that name. The two-year figure most people have met is the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, where an eligible child’s benefit runs across two calendar years rather than one. How often you personally come back is decided after an examination, and it is not the same for everybody.
What is the 3-3-3 rule in dentistry?
Several unrelated versions of this circulate, and none of them is a schedule dentists follow. If you are trying to remember what you were told after an extraction or a procedure, ring the clinic and ask instead of working from something half-remembered.
How do I fix my teeth if I don't have money?
Book the examination first, because until someone has looked, the cost is guesswork in both directions. A plan can be staged, with whatever is urgent dealt with first and the rest booked as you are able. Say where you stand at that first appointment and it gets built into the options.
